RULES FOR MWS MEMBERS ATTENDING MEETINGS From 1st February 2022

Whilst some legislation has ended certain rules are still necessary for us to comply with the requirements of legislation and the conditions of use for Linton Village Hall.

Members are reminded that failure to comply with these rules could jeopardise our ability to meet in the hall and could result in the suspension of a member from the Society by the Committee under our standing rules. All are in place to protect the other members of the club and other hall users, not just you.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ATTENDANCE

  1. AS A CONDITION OF HIRE in order to be eligible to attend meetings an e-mail or written notification must be supplied to the Society Treasurer
    with the following:

i. Name
ii. Full Address
iii. Contact telephone numbers
iv. E-mail address (if not the one you sent the e-mail from)

In doing so you will also be deemed to have agreed to the rules below and to participate in the communal cleaning, opening up and locking up of the hall.

In supplying these details the member is consenting to their release without further approval by a member of the Committee as required for the purposes of COVID-19 track and trace protocols as laid down by UK legislation, public health protocols and the Linton Village Hall terms of use.

These details will otherwise only be used for the purposes of maintaining the register of members, contacting members on Society business and distributing notices and reports to members.

BOOKING OF GAMES & GAME ATTENDANCE

2.  Members intending to run a game at a meeting of the Society must schedule the game with the Society Webmaster. The number of tables required and the number of players must be stated on booking.
3.  The webmaster will give priority to bookers on the basis of fair access to all members. Please bear this in mind and don’t try and hog the gaming schedule.
4.  The individual making a game booking is responsible for the following:

    • Getting their tables out of the store and disinfecting them on arrival – only one person in the table store at a time please.
    • Disinfecting the tables before leaving and returning them to the store
    • Members not running a game should book a place with the person running the game. It is suggested that members advertise their games for the purpose of booking places on the IO group. All members are responsible for taking away all their own rubbish for disposal.

5.  Attendance of non-members is permitted but should be arranged beforehand. The member running the game must ensure that any non-member visiting is aware of our conditions of use and adheres to them.
6.  AS A CONDITION OF OUR HIRE anyone who is feeling even slightly unwell should not attend a meeting.

AT EACH MEETING
7.  Face coverings are no longer mandatory, but it is recommended they are worn. Please maintain sensible social distancing wherever possible and respect the personal space and sensibilities of other members.
8.  IT IS A CONDITION OF OUR HIRE THAT THE FEMALE TOILET IS OUT OF BOUNDS TO MALE MEMBERS.
9.  The kitchen will be open. The hall crockery and cutlery should not be used, members should bring their own. ANYONE USING THE KITCHEN IN ANY WAY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING IT FULLY, IMMEDIATELY AFTER ANY USE.
10.  Do not enter the Gents toilet or the store-room if there is someone already in there. Wait till they come out.
11.  Members should advise the Committee if they have any symptoms and/or test positive after attending a meeting.
