Lamentable Woe!<\/p>\n

He is dead!<\/p>\n

Go tell them in the north – he is dead.<\/p>\n

Go tell them in the south – he is dead.<\/p>\n

Let them know in the east – he is dead.<\/p>\n

And all those in the west – he is dead.<\/p>\n

The Wolf Tamer is no more. Owain of Bangor is dead!. Ambushed and killed by English bandits, Owain the Benevolent, Owain the Peaceful, Owain the Thrice-Blessed, now lies in Heaven.<\/p>\n

The Death of Owain<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Though his body now lies in the earth his soul and spirit still lives. Bleddyn ab Owain, his beloved son, has made his way back to Bangor. He has left his studies at the abbey of Llanbadarn Fawr to take up his rightful place as heir of his father\u2019s demesne. With him he has brought the ways of the men of Deheubarth – pony riders skilled in making war from their mounts.<\/p>\n
