Andy rounds up yesterday’s meeting with some photos.
A mainly Sci-Fi and Fantasy day today, although there was a large historical game as well.
We’ll lead with Alan’s Star Wars X-Wing game, featuring a couple of large(ish) ships and several fighters (above)
Tony and Phil continued their Glacial Quest of the Ringbearer campaign, including the skirmish at the Ford of Bruinen and crossing the Pass of Caradhras.
Stephen planned a Dragon Rampant 2nd Edition day, but unfortunately had to drop out at the last minute, leaving Andy, Kim, Eric and Michael partaking. We managed four games through the day
Game 1. Andy’s Moria Warband vs Kim’s Swamp Lizards
Game 2 Eric’s Western Alliance vs Michael’s Saruman / Orthanc themed Warband.
Game 3 Eric’s Chaos Army vs Andy’s Moria Warband
Game 4 Kim’s Swamp Lizards vs Michael’s Saruman / Orthanc themed Warband.
And we’ll round off with the single Historical game at the meeting, Mark’s 1/300 Napoleonic – Peninsular War battle, using his house rules.
This meeting’s mix was a little unusual, there are normally more historical games than ScFi or Fantasy.
You can see what’s planned for future meetings in our diary for 2026 and 2027, the latter is looking a little sparse at the moment, but it will soon fill up.
