Andy rounds up the games at a recent meeting.
A bit of a Sci-Fi / RPG theme to this meeting’s games.
David and Chris ran “A Bridge to Far – AD30,000”, a Legion Imperialis game using 8mm(ish) figures and models. Above we have some of their tanks.

Chairman Mark ran a large Traveller RPG, with around 10 players.

Stephen ran ‘Country Roads Take Me Home’, a three scenario Rangers of Shadow Deep adventure, set in Icelandic “history”.
The three Rangers and their companions were charged with a mission. “Make your way to Askjastead and retrieve the spirits of the the slain family of Jarl Gunnar. You will then accompany their revenants to the Wild Temple, where they will rest in Valhalla for all time. To do so you will need to find Godi Egill, who lives in the Vatnajokull. He is a man who is familiar with the spirits, but he is a wild man and dangerous in his own right. You must tread with care.”
Scenario 1
Finding Godi Egill of Vatnajokull and persuading him to help with the quest.

The “?” markers are points of interest, the Rangers can check them, and may find something to their advantage. Or not.

Scenario 2
To the village of Askjastead, to find the bodies of Jarl Gunnar and his family, and retrieve their spirits. To aid this mission Godi Egill loaned the Rangers a talisman that would aid freeing the spirits from their bodies, which was entrusted to Ranger Helgi Karlson (Andy).

Scenario 3
Escorting the spirits to the Wild Temple, where they could cross over to Valhalla.
